Web text is the product description you display in your webshop. You can give each product an e-commerce title, along with short and long descriptions, for each sales channel and in multiple languages.
To set up web text and SEO
Select Search (Alt+Q) in the upper-right corner, enter Webshop Item List, and then choose the related link.
On the Webshop Item List page, select the relevant item, and then on the action bar, in the Webshop group, choose the Web Text & SEO action.

On the Web Text List page, select the relevant Sales Channel and the Language Code, and then choose the Edit action.

On the General FastTab, in the Item Name field, specify the product name displayed in your webshop.
Use this field to provide a customer-facing name that differs from the Business Central item name. This is useful when the Business Central item name contains internal abbreviations or technical details not suitable for webshop display. This field is optional and doesn’t affect the item name in Business Central.

On the Search Engine Optimization page, define SEO-optimized metadata for a product, such as a Meta Title and Meta Description. This improves your website’s visibility on search engines such as Google.

On the Web Text page, on the Web Texts FastTab, choose the Edit Description or the Edit Short Description to add a long or short description.
You can also create custom text sections beyond the standard description fields by selecting Edit Custom fields.

Enter the description in the Web Text Editor or select HTML Editor to add a description using HTML.
To enable unlimited product descriptions
Enabling blob web texts lets you add unlimited product descriptions. It also supports products per sales channel.

Select Search (Alt+Q) in the upper-right corner, enter E-Commerce Integration Setup, and then choose the related link.
If you don’t find E-Commerce Integration Setup in Search, change your role in Business Central to TINX E-Com Admin. Then on the Role Center, select Setup, and then choose E-Commerce Integration Setup.

On the Product Catalog FastTab, turn on the Use Blob Web Texts toggle.
When you turn on this option, web texts are stored in blob fields in the header instead of in the Web Text Line table.
