Use Tinx SparkLayer Connector to connect Business Central with SparkLayer. The goal is to create a SparkLayer sales channel in Business Central so that you can send B2B price lists to Shopify. To do that, complete the following steps.
- Install SparkLayer. Log in to the Shopify backend and install the SparkLayer B2B & Wholesale app.
- Generate an API key in SparkLayer. On your SparkLayer Dashboard, generate the API key that you use to connect Business Central with SparkLayer.
- Install Tinx SparkLayer Connector. Install the connector from AppSource and complete the initial setup in Business Central.
- Create and configure a SparkLayer sales channel. Use the API key from step 2 to configure the sales channel in Business Central.
- Verify the SPL-002 message definition. Check the setup of the key message definition required to send price lists to SparkLayer, and then publish a price list to test the connection.
You always use Tinx SparkLayer Connector together with another connector that connects Business Central with your Shopify webshop. Tinx SparkLayer Connector sends only Business Central prices to SparkLayer. SparkLayer then shows these prices in your Shopify webshop. For more information, see Manage B2B pricing in your webshop. You can use Tinx SparkLayer Connector together with either Tinx Shopify Connector or the native Shopify connector from Microsoft. If you plan to connect to Shopify by using Tinx Shopify Connector, establish the connection between Business Central and Shopify before you set up SparkLayer. For more information, see Connect Business Central with Shopify. Before you continue with this article and its procedures, review the general concept of using SparkLayer to synchronize prices. For more information, see Tinx SparkLayer Connector overview.

If this is the first SparkLayer sales channel you create in Business Central, Tinx Connector downloads the default mapping for SparkLayer. The download can take a few minutes. For more information, see Default mapping.
When the download is complete, on the Sales Channel List page, select the newly created SparkLayer sales channel, and then choose the Edit action.
